Amaya Sales UK is set to host a three day open house event from 20 – 22 February with a theme of ‘Take Your Business to the Next Level.’ The event has been arranged in the wake of the postponement of Printwear & Promotion Live and is intended to give people who would have visited the NEC a chance to still see a range of products and technology under one roof.

Visitors to Amaya’s Nottingham showroom will get a chance to see this technology demonstrated by the company’s experienced advisors as well to listen to an array of guest speakers providing useful advice on various sectors of the industry.’ At this stage the final line up of guest speakers has not been confirmed, but Amaya insist ‘you will not be disappointed!!’

The company will also be running hands-on workshops titled ‘High Level Embroidery Production Techniques’ and ‘How to get the best out of your DTG equipment’ on each of the three days. The idea behind the workshops being to help attendees take their business to the next level.

A key focus of the open days will be DTG systems, with Amaya showcasing the Industrial Kornit Atlas and Avalanche HD6 systems, the Roland XT 640 S and the popular entry level Polyprint Texjet range. The company is also hoping to have the new Mutoh DTF printer available for demonstration.

Also taking part will be Amaya’s fellow suppliers Kornit, Madeira, David Sharp and leading wholesale clothing supplier PenCarrie. Madeira will be showcasing its range of embroidery thread, backings and accessories, introducing its new ‘Award Winning Sustainable Threads’ and will be on hand to give advice and support to embroiderers. Meanwhile Lewis Wotton, PenCarrie’s academy co-ordinator (AKA its inhouse decoration expert), will be on hand to answer any decoration queries relating to the best blank garments for the job.

It’ll be a great event,’ said director Charlotte Darling. ‘We’re looking forward to seeing everyone there.’ Lunch will be provided to all attendees, and Amaya has confirmed that its premises are large and spacious enough to allow for social distancing and group talks in Covid safe and comfortable surroundings.
