Slick Stitch has opened a new facility in The Netherlands, its first foothold in the EU. The West-Midlands based company, which specialises in printing and embroidery services for the garment sector, will now also have a site in Born, only a handful of miles from both the Belgian and German borders.

The company, which will operate in The Netherlands as Slick Stitch BV, says that the move will help its customers to improve their supply chain by offering faster delivery to market, tariff free. It will start off by offering embroidery, printing and third-party logistics, but Slick Stitch plans to increase its services with more techniques in 2022, with investment in both equipment and staff expected.

‘We are really excited to now be fully operational in Europe,’ commented CEO Inder Jain. ‘It has been a long time in the planning and is in line with our strategy to offering all of our customers the best supply chain options while never losing our unique and fully integrated service offering.

‘The facility supplied its first orders last week and is now accelerating its output in a planned and controlled way to ensure we maintain our high quality standards, we are grateful to customers who have supported us by placing work with the new plant and all of the team that have worked so hard to establish the new facility over the last few months. We are now looking forward to exciting times ahead as we continue to grow the Slick Stitch offering across Europe.’
