Further to the recent acquisition by Datateam of Sign & Digital UK and the decision to run both it and Printwear & Promotion Live concurrently at the NEC in February 2024, the organiser has clarified that the shows will not be merged in their next editions.

The two shows will run alongside each other at the NEC, Birmingham, from Sunday 25 to Tuesday 27 February 2024, and will be held in adjoining halls, with SDUK in Hall 2 and P&P Live in Hall 1. According to Datateam, they will maintain their own identities with separate promotions, online registrations and entrances. However, visitors to either will be able to attend the other event, and there will be a link between the two halls to allow easy access from one into the other, without the need to exit and re-enter through the halls’ main entrances.

The co-location will see Sign & Digital UK open on a Sunday for the first time. Datateam says that smaller sign-makers are increasingly busy during the normal working week, making it difficult to find the time to attend both shows. Derek MacHale, head of sales for SDUK, commented, ‘By opening on a Sunday, buyers have a chance to take in the show in a more relaxed and informal manner and enjoy the opportunity to see the latest technology, learn more about industry trends at the seminar zone and spend quality time with partners, suppliers and peers without the stress of a usual work day.’

Visitor registration for both shows opens in early November 2023.
