UFabrik has appointed Sesoma as its distributor for Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia, extending the textile manufacturer’s presence across the Baltic region and expanding access to its wide and super-wide format digital textile materials.
The agreement is one of several that UFabrik been established over recent weeks as it increases its international distribution network.
Sesoma, a division of Mutoh, has supplied equipment and materials to the Baltic visual communications market for more than 20 years. The company supports printing and advertising businesses across the region with sales, service, and technical support, and represents a range of hardware and materials brands.
According to UFabrik, the partnership reflects growing demand in the Baltic states for sustainable materials, soft signage, and textile-based applications across sectors including retail, interior design, events and exhibitions.
“Across the Baltic markets we’re seeing a clear shift towards sustainable materials, soft signage, and flexible textile applications,” said Monica Mourao, European sales director at UFabrik. “Retail, interior design, events and exhibitions are all demanding solutions that look exceptional whilst being kind to the environment. Together with Sesoma, we believe UFabrik textiles set a new benchmark for quality and sustainability in these market sectors, offering modern responsible alternatives that meet the region’s readiness for change.”
Sesoma said UFabrik strengthens its materials portfolio, particularly as customers seek alternatives to PVC-based products. Alvis Butāns, area director for the Baltic states at Sesoma, said: “Before partnering with UFabrik, our portfolio lacked a strong textile brand for wide format digital printing with an attractive customer price point. In addition, customers were increasingly asking for alternatives to PVC-based products. UFabrik’s textile range complements our existing portfolio and meets the growing demand for sustainable, high-performance materials in digital printing.”
As part of the rollout, Sesoma will support customers transitioning to UFabrik textiles with colour profiling and technical guidance, including support around sublimation stretch and shrinkage.
“UFabrik is a strong reputable brand in the market. Its focus on innovation, quality, and commitment to eco-friendly production convinced us that it’s the right manufacturer for our customers,” Mr Butāns added. “Our customers will gain access to a modern, eco-friendly range that performs at the highest quality level.”
