UK craft and print-on-demand wholesaler Let’s Get Crafty Wholesale has strengthened its in-house production capability with the installation of InkTec Europe’s 60cm DTF-T652 direct-to-film printer and UV-S30 UV-DTF system.
The investment marks a significant step for the business, which supplies sublimation blanks, drinkware, vinyl, ready-to-press designs, and short-run DTF and UV-DTF print services to home businesses and small brands across the UK.
According to managing director Richard Thompson, the decision to bring both technologies in-house was driven by rapid business growth and rising customer demand. “Let’s Get Crafty Wholesale Ltd has grown far quicker than we expected and in 2026 we are expecting even stronger sales using InkTec products,” he said. “Investing in our own InkTec DTF and UV DTF printers was our next logical step – they give us full control over quality, capacity, and turnaround times, so we can keep pace with the demand from our customers. We can also allow customers to upload their own designs through the site and we can print.”
The addition of the two systems is expected to support a broader product range while improving consistency, reliability, and flexibility across both textile and hard-surface applications. The company says the upgrade will allow it to scale production and deliver faster fulfilment as order volumes increase.
Sarah Hall, consumables sales manager at InkTec Europe, highlighted the operational benefits of the new equipment. “Bringing these machines in-house isn’t just about upgrading hardware,” she said. “With the DTF-T652’s advanced auto-ink supply, efficient powder recycling, and robust film take-up system, plus the UV-S30’s simultaneous print-and-laminate workflow, it means that Let’s Get Crafty can now deliver vibrant, durable designs for both textiles and hard-surface items with reduced waste and faster turnaround times.”
Looking ahead, Let’s Get Crafty plans further investment as it responds to changing trends in the craft market. “We know trends change quickly in the craft world, and we want to be ready for whatever comes next,” Mr Thompson added. “With InkTec’s excellent support and the DTF-T652 and UV-S30 behind us, we feel properly set up for the next stage – more designs, more products, and more opportunities for our customers.”
