Lancashire-based printed brand communications company Envision Media has installed an HP Stitch S1000 dye sublimation printer, which it says has helped speed up production and reduce turnaround times.

Founded in 2013, Envision Media provides large-format print to a range of clients that includes local businesses and brands such as Formula One, Asda, The Jockey Club, Shark, Waterstones and B&M Stores. Increasing demand, particularly in the events and exhibitions sectors, led to the investment in an HP Stitch S1000. Purchased from RA Smart, the dye sublimation printer was installed at Envision Media’s Skelmersdale facility in April 2023.

Paul Harrison, director and co-founder of Envision Media, said that the new printer has already had a major impact on operations and the company has seen significant growth:

‘With the demand we have been facing, we understood the value in upgrading our manufacturing process with machinery that can cope with the demand, produce high quality prints and allow us to expand our scope within the fabrics and materials we use. Within the space of a few months, we are impressed with the full capabilities of the machinery and with the results so far, as are our clients – which is the most important accreditation for us.

‘Installing the HP Stitch S1000 has allowed us to speed up our production times, meaning we are able to work to extremely tight deadlines and produce more artworks without compromising quality,’ he added.

Mr Harrison also noted the environmental benefits of working with the machine, saying the printer and its ability to handle more sustainable materials supports his company’s ongoing efforts in working towards a more ‘planet friendly’ industry.
