CMYUK is now officially the biggest revenue generator of all EFI’s partners around the world. The accolade covers its provision of EFI’s principal printer portfolio, Fiery display graphics software and digital front-end products for 2021.
CMYUK has been EFI’s exclusive distributor in the UK and Ireland for 17 years. Its previous best year, in terms of revenue generated for EFI products, was 2019, but it just exceeded that year’s figures by 14%. The company attributed its growth in sales to its ‘focusing and correlating EFI innovation with the unprecedented market conditions bought about by the COVID-19.’
Robin East, group commercial director at CMYUK, commented on the news. ‘During the pandemic the industry needed to streamline and create efficiency within production,’ he said. ‘EFI products have allowed many businesses to consolidate the number of assets they had operated and implement automation into their businesses, ultimately creating the productivity objectives they were looking for.
‘The UK government provided a great deal of financial assistance to UK businesses, so this supported new and existing customers to re-evaluate their position and forward strategies.’
