Mimaki has announced a series of upgrades to its TS330 dye sublimation range, including the introduction of a new, wider-format model, the TS330-1800. The enhancements are designed to give textile printers greater colour flexibility, higher output potential, and improved efficiency across a broad range of applications.
The full TS330 Series is now compatible with Mimaki’s Sb411 dye sublimation inks in orange, violet, fluorescent pink, and fluorescent yellow. This expands the available ink set to 11 colours, enabling improved vibrancy, colour saturation, and accuracy. The extended colour gamut is intended to support applications where strong visual impact and precise colour reproduction are critical, including sportswear, fabric signage, and promotional textiles.
Alongside the expanded ink compatibility, Mimaki has launched the TS330-1800, which features a maximum print width of 1940mm. The wider format is aimed at textile producers looking to move into larger applications such as curtains and home décor, while also improving layout efficiency for existing work. By allowing more panels to be printed side by side, the wider width can help reduce the need for sewing, pattern matching and material waste.
Commenting on the update, Arjen Evertse, director sales at Mimaki Europe, said: “Achieving eye-catching prints is becoming increasingly important when printing textiles, particularly when it comes to branded material like signage or sportswear. To cater to this market need, vibrant inks like fluorescents give users the ability to produce more saturated, as well as more accurate, colours in their applications.
“The TS330 Series delivers reliable, high image quality, colour density and high print speeds, and so we wanted to offer print shops a larger machine to further amplify their business growth. Thanks to its larger print width, the new TS330-1800 can now accommodate larger home décor applications, a market where digitally printed textiles are in high demand, and higher output with improved layout efficiency for other applications, in addition to all the existing benefits of a TS330 printer.”
The TS330 Series uses Mimaki’s Oeko-Tex Eco-Passport certified Sb411 inks, supporting environmentally responsible production and helping print providers meet sustainability requirements set by textile brands and end customers. The TS330-1800 will be supplied with TxLink5 Lite RIP software to support workflow management.
In the UK and Ireland, the TS330-1800 will be exclusively distributed by Hybrid Services and is expected to be available through authorised reseller partners from spring 2026.
