Fiery has released Digital Factory 12, the latest version of its workflow software for direct-to-film (DTF) and direct-to-garment (DTG) printing, introducing upgraded colour tools, a redesigned interface and new production features aimed at both growing and high-volume print operations.

The update brings Fiery’s established colour technology into the DTF/DTG space, with a focus on providing accurate, repeatable colour output, and simplified calibration. A new saturation rendering intent has been developed specifically for textiles, designed to lift colour in traditionally muted areas while retaining natural skin tones, offering users the option of more vivid apparel graphics without risking oversaturation. Fiery has also added the Color Profiler as an optional module, enabling operators to create ICC profiles in-house using supported spectrophotometers.

Alongside the colour improvements, Digital Factory 12 introduces tools intended to reduce complexity in creating, previewing, and arranging jobs. A native Gang Sheet Builder now allows operators to assemble layouts via drag-and-drop directly within the software, eliminating reliance on external applications and giving clearer control over grouping, nesting, and sheet closure. Markup features have also been expanded to support clearer labelling, orientation markers, and finishing guides, which Fiery says will help minimise cutting errors and improve consistency during post-print processing.

“The DTF and DTG print market is growing rapidly, and customers want less friction, more impactful colour, and future-ready workflows that take their operations to the next level,” said Toby Weiss, CEO of Fiery. “For over 30 years, Fiery has provided the colour technology that tens of thousands of printers around the world have relied on for the best colour quality in digital print. Digital Factory 12 changes the game for DTF and DTG printing with that same professional-grade colour calibration, combined with smart automation tools that scale as print businesses grow. Whether you’re printing your first custom t-shirt or your thousandth, Digital Factory 12 brings you the capabilities you need to reach your full printing potential.”
