Galaxy Value Solutions has increased its direct-to-film (DTF) printing capacity with the installation of an InkTec Europe IT-DTF-A604 4 Head Pro Series printer. The investment replaces its previous 2-head model and significantly reduces production times and increased daily output, enabling the business to fulfil more same-day dispatch orders.
“The 4-head machine has transformed our operations,” said Simon Kim, business strategic director at Galaxy Value Solutions. “We’ve cut our production time drastically and can now process more jobs each day, delivering the same high-quality results our customers expect — but faster.”
The decision to invest in the InkTec printer was driven by the need for greater speed and productivity to meet growing demand. After testing several printer brands in the UK and overseas, the company chose InkTec for its print quality and after-sales service, the company said. “InkTec Europe’s local technical support is second to none,” added Mr Kim. “Their team, from the managing director to the engineers, have been instrumental in ensuring smooth integration and continued performance — it’s a partnership we truly value.”
Founded over a decade ago as a laminator and heat press machine distributor, Galaxy Value Solutions has grown into a key supplier of DTF transfers and consumables, with 95% of orders printed and dispatched the same day. The company emphasises speed, colour consistency, and strong client relationships as its core strengths.
The business plans to introduce nine-colour printing to meet the quality requirements of high-street fashion brands, while continuing to focus on fast delivery and consistent results in a competitive market.
