UFabrik has collaborated with CarbonQuota, a carbon measurement and consultancy firm, to assess the environmental impact of its product portfolio through Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs).

The partnership is aimed at providing verified environmental data for UFabrik’s textiles, responding to increased demand from customers and regulators for transparent, independently certified sustainability claims. The LCAs will evaluate the full lifecycle of UFabrik’s products, from raw material sourcing to end-of-life disposal, allowing the company to measure and report carbon emissions and other environmental impacts more accurately.

“We’re working to provide clarity in an industry where sustainability claims are often vague,” said Robin East, group chief commercial officer at UFabrik. “By partnering with CarbonQuota, we can support our sustainability efforts with data that is scientifically validated and externally audited.”

CarbonQuota, which specialises in carbon footprint analysis for the packaging, print, media, and logistics sectors, will provide technical support and verification to ensure UFabrik’s environmental disclosures are robust and aligned with recognised standards.

“UFabrik’s commitment to lifecycle-based assessments is a meaningful step toward more science-driven environmental accountability,” said Dominic Harris, co-founder of CarbonQuota.
