Fespa has announced the launch of Textile, a new event focused on printed textiles, apparel and décor. The inaugural edition will take place alongside Fespa Global Print Expo 2026 and its co-located shows – Personalisation Experience, European Sign Expo, and the newly introduced Corrugated event – at Fira Barcelona from 19 to 22 May 2026.
The new event will combine an exhibition with a conference programme designed for professionals working with printed textiles, including garment, sportswear and interior décor producers. It aims to provide a concentrated platform for exploring emerging trends, innovations and best practices across the textile printing value chain.
Exhibitors will showcase a range of textile technologies and materials, including roll-to-roll printing systems, direct-to-garment (DTG) and direct-to-fabric (DTF) machinery, workflow and design software, embroidery and sewing equipment, finishing systems, inks, coatings and textile substrates.
A series of free-to-attend conference sessions will feature industry experts discussing topics such as improving production efficiency, reducing environmental impact and minimising waste. The event will also offer networking opportunities with brands and designers seeking more agile and sustainable textile production models.
“With the launch of Textile, we’re creating a focused environment that directly addresses the challenges faced by textile printers, garment brands, sportswear producers and interior designers,” said Duncan MacOwan, head of marketing and events at Fespa. “Textile will help visitors make smarter production decisions, embrace sustainable, on-demand manufacturing and turn creative ideas into profitable results.”
Callum Legg, group sales and project manager at Fespa, added that the event would serve as “a directional meeting point for experts to discover new opportunities, explore responsible production and understand the factors shaping the future of textile printing.”
