Premex will showcase the PrepRite digital textile fabric range across several major OEM booths during this year’s Printing United Expo at the Orange County Convention Center from October 22–24.

The company’s fabrics will be showcased through collaborations with HP, Mimaki, Monti Antonio, Klieverik, Coldenhove, and DGI, demonstrating a variety of applications in digital textile printing.

According to Nick Smith, managing partner of Premex Solutions, the event provides an opportunity to highlight how textile development and print technology continue to advance together. “Printing United is an important platform for collaboration, and we’re pleased to see PrepRite fabrics represented by multiple OEM partners this year,” he said.

A central collaboration with HP will include live demonstrations of PrepRite fabrics in the production of items such as tote bags, scarves, cushions, tea towels, and lampshades. The applications will showcase HP’s Gen 4 Latex and Dye-Sublimation technologies. HP will also operate a micro-factory setup, printing and finishing PrepRite fabrics on-site, with completed items distributed to visitors.

Co-branded HP and PrepRite sample books will feature artwork by Beth Lingard, winner of the Premier Digital Textiles New Designers Prize. Her Dusk till Dawn collection will appear across the HP, Monti Antonio, and Klieverik booths, used in live demonstrations including wide-format heat pressing and textile finishing.

At the Mimaki booth, PrepRite fabrics printed on the TX330 and TS200 printers will be displayed across a range of applications produced in partnership with Hybrid Services (UK) and Mimaki US. Designs by Australian artist Frida Las Vegas will also feature in co-branded Mimaki and PrepRite sample books.

Further collaborations will see Coldenhove and Premex Solutions produce joint sample books that demonstrate print transfer using Trapis technology, while DGI will showcase printed samples and giveaways highlighting colour vibrancy and consistency achieved through dye-sublimation on PrepRite materials.

Although Premex Solutions will not have its own booth, company representatives will be present throughout the event to support OEM partners and meet with visitors.
