TheMagicTouch has been named as an official UK reseller of Epson’s first direct-to-film (DTF) printer, the SureColour G6000. The compact model, launched earlier this year, will now be available through TheMagicTouch alongside its existing DTF offerings.
The SureColour G6000 is designed for space-conscious print environments, with a front-loading system and a maximum media width of 90cm (35.4 inches). Key features include an automated maintenance system and a fabric printhead wiper cleaning system aimed at reducing operator intervention.
The printer features Epson’s PrecisionCore Micro TFP printhead with nozzle verification technology, which aims to reduce production downtime by automatically detecting and compensating for clogged nozzles. It also includes a sealed large-capacity ink pack system using Epson’s UltraChrome DF inks, which are Oeko-Tex Eco Passport certified, CPSIA-compliant and non-toxic. The ink set includes bright white and a wide colour gamut designed for textile applications.
Included in the bundle is the Fiery Digital Factory DTF Epson Edition production print software. On-site service, support and extended warranties from Epson are also available.
TheMagicTouch will be demonstrating the SureColour G6000 at upcoming Print & Stitch events scheduled across the UK this autumn. Locations include Croydon, Solihull, Swindon and Barnsley, giving potential customers an opportunity to see the printer in operation.
