Mimaki Europe has announced its participation in Texworld Paris, taking place from 15-17 September at the Parc des Expositions de Paris-Le Bourget. The company will spotlight its Trapis (Transfer Pigment System), a sustainable textile printing solution, within the Avantex Paris section of the show.
Trapis, introduced in 2024, represents a significant advancement in eco-conscious textile printing, explained the company. The two-step system – combining an inkjet printer with a high-pressure calender – reduces wastewater by up to 90% and cuts carbon emissions by as much as 92% compared to traditional digital dyeing methods. Designed for versatility, Trapis supports on-demand printing across both natural and synthetic fabrics, making it suitable for applications in fashion and interior décor.
Visitors to Mimaki’s booth will experience real-world customer case studies that highlight the system’s performance, efficiency, and environmental benefits. Trapis is particularly relevant in the Avantex Paris zone, which is dedicated to showcasing innovations that advance circularity and pollution reduction in the fashion and textile industries.
“Texworld Paris provides an invaluable platform to showcase our accessible and sustainable Trapis solution directly to thousands of global textile professionals,” said Martial Granet, branch manager France and Maghreb at Mimaki Europe. “Continuing the momentum of the Trapis roadshow in June, which generated strong interest from fashion brands, we’re excited to see how it is received here by visitors.”
