Ricoh has announced that its textile printer, XTF D430, for small to medium PSPs, is now available across EMEA.

Ideal for business-to-business or business-to-consumer operations due to its low investment, ease of use, and small footprint, the direct-to-film (DTF) system utilises Ricoh’s own inkjet printheads to deliver 1200 x 1200dpi. The machine uses wet cap technology to keep nozzles clog free, has an independently controlled four zone heater system that enables rapid drying, and an integrated cutting unit which offers roll-to-roll and roll-to-cut options for material widths up to 432mm. This allows the XTF D430 to produce a variety of printed applications including t-shirts, hoodies, hats, and shoes.

Key features of the XTF D430, according to Ricoh, include superior print quality, versatile applications, and exceptional durability. The company added that the machine’s seamless workflow and precise colour control, utilising its ColorGate Productionserver software, supports elevated print capabilities.

Graham Kennedy, general manager of industrial solutions at Ricoh Europe, commented: “Ricoh’s innovative mindset has enabled us to push the boundaries of what’s possible in custom DTF printing. The versatile XTF D430 is a testament to our commitment to quality, creativity, and service, providing our clients with a tool that I am confident will not only meet, but exceed, their expectations.”
