Avery Dennison has officially opened its new apparel manufacturing facility in Vietnam, in partnership with garment manufacturer Shenzhou Group.
The facility, named Avery Dennison Worldon Vietnam Joint Venture Company, is located in the Dong Nam Industrial Park in Ho Chi Minh City. It marks a key step in Avery Dennison’s strategic investment in Vietnam and strengthens its position in the regional textile supply chain.
The new factory will manufacture a range of apparel and digital identification products, including Embelex brand embellishments and RFID technologies. These solutions are aimed at improving supply chain transparency, increasing operational efficiency, and enhancing brand value for apparel manufacturers and retailers.
“This facility represents a major milestone in our ambition to lead innovation and sustainability in the apparel sector,” said Michael Barton, senior vice president and general manager of apparel solutions at Avery Dennison. “By combining our expertise with Shenzhou Group’s manufacturing scale, we are building a future-ready platform that supports both global brands and local markets.”
The partnership also supports the modernisation of Vietnam’s textile industry by integrating digital solutions into traditional manufacturing processes. Designed with future expansion in mind, the facility reflects both companies’ commitment to long-term growth and sustainability in the region.
Mr Ma, executive chairman of Shenzhou Group, emphasised the value of the collaboration. “This joint venture brings together our strengths to co-develop more agile, efficient, and responsible production models that meet the evolving needs of the global textile industry.”
