Insta Graphic Systems has announced the release of Insta DTF, a new universal direct-to-film (DTF) heat transfer product. The company said it has been designed for a variety of apparel and fabric applications.

According to Greg Farmer, sales executive for the Americas, the product is intended to offer a combination of high-definition image quality, durability, and compatibility across multiple fabric types. “Insta DTF delivers vibrant colours, rich whites, and a smooth satin finish, making it suitable for both short and long production runs,” said Mr Farmer.

The transfer is designed to work on cotton, cotton blends, and non-sublimated polyester fabrics. Key features, according to the company, include a broad colour range for detailed graphics, good stretchability, and a semi-transparent film for precise placement. The product is also formulated without phthalates or PVC, boosting its eco credentials.

Insta Graphic Systems says the new transfer supports photo-realistic printing and is ideal for applications ranging from corporate branding to artistic designs. The company has also released usage guidelines, offering best practices for pressing different materials, washing instructions, and tips for avoiding dye migration.

The California-based manufacturer emphasised its commitment to user support and product consistency. Insta DTF is intended to complement the company’s heat press equipment, providing a full solution for professional textile decorators.

The product is now available through Insta’s sales channels and includes customer service support and application resources.
