Electronics for Imaging (EFI) has selected UFabrik as its textile of choice for its stand build at Fespa in Berlin.
EFI chose UFabrik’s Soft Blackback Textile, having played a central role in the visual design of EFI’s exhibition stand at the ISA International Sign Expo in Las Vegas, aligning with this year’s theme: Innovative Print Solutions for a Sustainable Future. The textile was used for all large-format graphics, produced on the EFI Vutek FabriVU 340i+ dye-sublimation printer.
The Soft Blackback Textile, made from 100% knitted polyester, features a white print surface and a scratch-resistant backing. It is designed for direct and paper transfer dye sublimation and is widely used for trade show displays due to its combination of stretch, softness, and durability.
Todd Zimmerman, chief revenue officer at EFI, highlighted the material’s role in the company’s trade show strategy. “We love working with UFabrik because its high-quality textiles reliably deliver exceptionally vibrant print results that support our brand and help attract visitors to our stand and engage them with our offerings. Our trade show construction partners also appreciate its durability and ease of installation,” he said.
Damien Clarke, sales director at UFabrik, added: “UFabrik textiles are helping major brands worldwide bring their creative vision to life. We’re delighted that it has earned itself a place once again in EFI’s exhibition toolkit and become an integral component of its visual storytelling,” he said.
