Ricoh will demonstrate its textile on-demand production technologies at Fespa 2025, taking place at Messe Berlin from 6-9 May.
Headlining Ricoh’s presence is the Ricoh Pro D1600 direct to film (DTF) system, capable of speeds exceeding 20sqm/hr at widths up to 1300mm, thanks to Ricoh’s advanced industrial printheads. Also featured will be the Ri 4000 direct to garment (DTG) printer, designed for printing on polyester fabrics. Its integrated pre-treatment process ensures consistent, vibrant results – ideal for apparel decorators and designers.
Supporting these systems is Ricoh’s inkjet technology, built for speed, durability, and minimal maintenance.
Al devices will be driven by ColorGate Productionserver Version 24, ensuring accurate and reliable colour management across workflows.
Ricoh will also present its sustainable approach to textile production, emphasising just-in-time, on-demand, local manufacturing that reduces waste and cuts unnecessary transportation. In addition, Ricoh will highlight its Valvejet technology, suited for industrial painting and coating applications requiring high-viscosity fluids and large drop sizes. A live demonstration of a tyre printing solution for the customisation market will showcase its potential.
Ricoh will also engage with the R&D community, offering insights into navigating the complex supply chain of printheads, electronics, and curing.
