Epson has expanded its small-format dye-sublimation printer range with the launch of the SureColor SC-F300, a new A3 desktop model aimed at small businesses and growing personalisation providers.

The SC-F300 is designed to provide a route from A4 into larger-format personalised production, supporting applications including larger garments and a wider range of personalised products.

Ease of operation is a focus of the new printer, which features a 2.7in colour touch panel alongside front and rear sheet feeding. The front cassette accommodates up to 150 A4 sheets, while the rear cassette handles media up to A3 size with a capacity of 15 sheets.

The printer uses a continuous ink supply system (CISS) with dye-sublimation inks, intended to reduce the frequency of ink changes during production.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Ethernet and USB, while support for mobile printing includes Apple AirPrint. Epson is positioning the SC-F300 as part of its wider ‘genuine solution’ approach, combining its ink, driver, media, warranty and support.

Chris Davies, head of product marketing C&I and BS at Epson Europe, said: “The SureColor SC-F300 is ideal for customers who are expanding into personalisation and short-run production. It’s built to make it easier for growing businesses to step up to A3 dye-sublimation with confidence – combining simple operation, flexible handling and the dependable performance users expect from Epson.”

The SureColor SC-F300 comes with a one-year standard warranty. Epson said the combination of its compact desktop format and A3 capability is intended to provide personalisation businesses with greater flexibility as they expand the range and size of products they can offer.
